Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has appointed Lawrence Rael to serve as state executive director for New Mexico.  A native of New Mexico, Rael has spent his career as a public servant, working as the executive director for the Mid-Region Council of Governments, chief administrative officer for the city of Albuquerque and legislative assistant to Sen.
