FSA Provides Funding for Flood-Damaged Farms

Producers affected by last year’s flooding of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers are receiving help from the Farm Service Agency to repair thousands of acres of land that was destroyed. Through the FSA Emergency Conservation Program, farmers are able to receive the funding needed to restore their land. “Over $14 million has been allocated in Missouri for the ECP program for flood recovery over the past year,” said Edward Hamill, executive director of Missouri FSA. “This essential cost-share funding has given producers peace of mind and the ability to rehabilitate their farmland.” Read more (stltoday.com).
